My name is Lee-Ann Baugh; however, most people call me Lee. I am originally from a little island in the West Indies known as Jamaica 🇯🇲
I spent most of my life in Jamaica and my most recent move to South Florida has been an exciting journey so far!
Personal
Lee-Ann Baugh, a 25-year-old young woman born and raised in Clarendon, Jamaica, has led an impressive career as a marketer and brand ambassador in her four years in the workforce.
Her journey began in the year 2011, in her small town of May Pen, Clarendon, when she took an interest in event planning and promotions alongside a team of friends. Lee-Ann had a talent for event planning, execution, and sponsorship seeking which led to the successful staging of two annual events. Lee-Ann was admitted to the University of the West Indies, Mona, in 2013 to pursue Psychology and a minor in Criminology. Her passion for marketing and event planning, however, did not waiver as she was an active participant on her hall, the Aston Preston Hall, and in particular, the hall’s Cultural and Entertainment Affairs Committee (CEAC). She asserted herself as the Cultural and Entertainment Affairs Committee Secretary and finally the Cultural and Entertainment Affairs Chairperson for the Aston Preston Hall. It was on this committee that she honed her talent for brand ambassadorship and event planning and execution and led her committee to the execution of 14 portfolio events throughout her tenure. As CEAC, Lee-Ann worked alongside many large international brands such as Smirnoff Jamaica, Coca Cola Jamaica, Jamaican Teas, and Flow Jamaica, through event partnerships and student brand ambassadorships.
According to the Myers-Briggs Personality Type, her personality is INFJ, The Advocate. This really is an accurate description of the person that she is as she is passionate about helping others change the way in which they view the world and the way people interact with one another.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading novels, writing, watching anything true crime related and spending time with family and friends.
Professional
Upon graduating the University of the West Indies with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, Lee-Ann entered the work force, landing her first job serving as Sales and Marketing Officer at Springvale Enterprises, a small business specializing in Jamaican made condiments. Through her commitment to this role she helped the company by negotiating and promoting, to establish itself locally in all supermarkets, restaurants and resorts across the island and brought awareness to the brand on a consumer basis through social media and targeted in store promotions.
Lee-Ann then went on to becoming the Sales and Marketing assistant for the largest foam and mattress producer in the Caribbean, Therapedic Caribbean in 2017. In this role she oversaw a department of sales representatives, spearheading major sales initiatives and promotions and implementing new strategies to build more brand awareness online and build strategic partnerships with other businesses such as hotels across the island.
She undertook one of her biggest journeys yet, moving to the United States of America and adjusting to a new culture and way of life. Lee-Ann took this in stride as she began working in the skincare industry for Steiner Leisure as the ELEMIS Marketing and Training Coordinator followed by the Time to Spa Customer Service Representative. These positions truly allowed her INFJ personality to shine as she interacted with consumers on a daily basis, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Lee-Ann is currently honing, and pursuing her passion for Marketing in order to fully develop her natural inclination in personal and professional brand development.
